Moments Unearthed

I unearthed myself…

Since starting my journey back to life, living life in moments wasn’t a choice.  It was the only way I was able to survive. After a while, survival became something more. I learned to appreciate and find joy in the moments and in capturing the moments. As I was re-experiencing life again, I unearthed ME, and found inspiration all around.

Inspiration for me comes in all shapes and forms, from anywhere and everywhere I go. I cannot contain it; it just pours out of me. It hides when I’m looking, but jumps out when I’m not.

There isn’t a place I go, a person I meet, or a thing I see that doesn’t make my brain want shout “hooray”.

Inspiration is all around, except of course, when I seek it. It makes me laugh, just the thought, how playful and wondrous it can be.

I look at the sun, I feel its light, the shadows it casts and twinkle it blasts. I look at the trees, I look at the leaves, how playful and fun, as they swing in sun.

I see all the cars, as they pass by one by one. Some going fast, and some going slow, they all pass by, not stopping at all, not even one.

I look at the sky, I look for the clouds, but no fluffy stuff, none at all floating by. Inspiration is nearby, I feel its touch, keeping me sane, in this place of the mundane.
