I found inspiration…

The brain inspires me. Imagine this muscle, CPU, multitasking machine. The essence of who we are. All our memories, emotions, characteristics, all come from the brain. It’s doing billions of processes all the same time. How we breathe, talk, walk, and play with our hands, all at the same time. Can you imagine the network needed for all that to be happening all at once? What about healing? It sends messages to our body when there’s danger or we need healing. What an amazing thing our brain is. Yet, we think so little of it, about, or even acknowledge it. Without it, do we exist? I am inspired.

Design inspires me – form and function. Design that is functional and aesthetically pleasing gives me that feeling of “awe”. How people use something, how it works for them, a well-thought-out design is everything. In anything, even simple things, like a spoon or fork, a washroom, an entrance to a building or a park, things most of us take for granted, I notice. The finishing touches, the details in form and function, they are inspiring. Anything well designed can be used by everyone – accessible and inclusive. The thought that goes into it, is what inspires me most.

Tell me, what inspires you?
